It's simple to note that Hen Long uses a different battery system from VsTank Pro and Marui tanks. Hen Long uses an 8-pack rechargeable battery that is connected through plugging the power socket inside the tank. VsTank Pro and Marui simply uses AA batteries.

Using a rechargeable battery means that the tank needs to be recharged through an adaptor. The recharging period usually lasts for about 15 minutes, but do be careful on overheating the adaptor, and do note that if the voltage's different from your country's, you should ask your supplier for a replacement charger. There are times where the supplier has a stock full of wrong chargers that come with their shipment (and obviously can't replace for you).
Using AA batteries mean that all the above hassles are basically gone. Now you can buy AA batteries from a local store and get the tank running in a snap. Of course, that means buying new batteries but most RC people know that rechargeable batteries is the way to go. I would recommend going with 8 rechargeable batteries instead of standard non-rechargeable ones.
All 3 transmitters use a 9V battery, Hen Long even gives one to you for free (but that doesn't mean I'll recommend you to buy a Hen Long just because it has a free 9V battery). I'd recommend that, for the VsTank Pro and the Marui tanks at least, using and buying a box (around 12 9V batteries) of small-brand batteries for cheap can have the transmitter go on for very long without any problems.
